1981-2002 Ram HD Dana 70 Rear Differential Cover (1061835)

The BD Diesel Rear Differential Cover is an enhanced design for Dana 70 differentials that promotes cooler, longer gear life. Unlike bulky covers that can cause lubricating oil to be flung off the ring gear, BD's engineered cover deflects the oil back onto the ring gear and into the pinion gear for optimal lubrication and reduced heat and wear. The cover features an extra capacity sump located at the bottom for the gears to pick up oil, along with internal and external cooling fins to maintain low operating temperatures. The cover comes gasketless, utilizing an integral re-usable Viton O-Ring seal, and includes a magnetic drain plug, stainless steel allen head cap bolts, and a fill plug.
