1987-2006 TJ / LJ / XJ / ZJ HD Steering Kit with Stabilizer Clamp (8121-10)

Description

A larger and stronger bolt in replacement for the factory steering on TJ, LJ, XJ, ZJ, and MJ Jeeps, with no drilling or reaming required. This 8121-10 kit uses a 1 3/8 inch 4130 chromoly tie rod and a 1 3/8 inch solid bar drag link with Synergy HD tie rod ends and a stabilizer clamp so you can add your choice of steering stabilizer.

• Tie rod made from 1 3/8 inch 4130 chromoly, heat treated for maximum strength
• Drag link made from 1 3/8 inch 1018 solid bar to eliminate deflection
• Synergy HD metal on metal tie rod ends, single plane at the drag link knuckle end to prevent steering flop
• Y-style geometry modeled after the factory layout to minimize bump steer and help prevent death wobble
• Double Adjuster Sleeve on the drag link and opposing thread tie rod allow alignment without removing the bars
• 6061-T6 black anodized aluminum steering stabilizer clamp for a 1/2 inch bolt stabilizer
• Abrasion resistant powder coat finish for durability and corrosion resistance
• 100 percent bolt on installation with basic hand tools

Notes

• Fits vehicles with 2 to 6 inches of lift and requires a minimum of 2 inch front bump stop spacers
• 2 to 4 inches of lift use the stock pitman arm; 4.5 to 6 inches require a drop pitman arm
• Wheel backspacing: 15 inch wheel max 3.75 inches, 16 inch wheel max 4.00 inches, 17 inch wheel max 4.50 inches
• Some toe change is normal with this Y-style design and is no worse than the factory steering
