It is fabricated from sturdy 2-inch OD x 3/16-inch wall steel tubing with a threaded bung welded near the axle and a precisely CNC-machined end at the frame. The axle mount utilizes BDS’s durable large-forged flex end paired with a jam nut, offering resilience and reliability. Featuring a forged housing with a large 1-1/4-inch x 12 threaded shank, a single-sided snap ring, and a one-piece flex ball, the flex ends accommodate up to 15 degrees of misalignment in either direction. The frame end incorporates a durometer-specific polyurethane bushing and free-floating traction bar that uses dual-stage internal compression springs and UHMW polyurethane bearings, enabling smooth, bind-free operation throughout the suspension’s range of motion.
