Description

The 1994-2002 Ram trucks are known for having a driver's side lean of up to 1.5", where the driver's side sits lower than the passenger's side. To address this common issue, Carli Suspension offers side-specific Coil Springs and Leaf Springs for these trucks. These springs provide you with a softer spring rate, but they do reduce payload capacity to "light" 3/4 ton.

Notes

• Due to the unique nature of these trucks and the lack of standardized design practices during their manufacturing, achieving a perfectly level stance can be challenging. Carli Suspension has encountered cases where trucks required the taller spring to be installed on the passenger's side to achieve a level stance. Conversely, there have been instances where the same-height springs needed to be installed on both sides to achieve a level stance. These inconsistencies in truck design make it difficult to guarantee a completely level side-to-side stance, and the corrective action taken by Carli Suspension is not considered a warranty
• Due to the limited options for performance upgrades for second-generation trucks, Carli Suspension has made the conscious decision to keep the product line available for these trucks despite the design oddities. The company has chosen to inform customers about these challenges rather than discontinuing the product line altogether

These full length progressive spring packs are built by Deaver Spring Mfg specifically for Carli Suspension. These springs were designed as a two stage spring pack, enabling the truck to still have a admirable weight capacity while offering smooth and comfortable street driving performance. For balanced on and offroad comfort. These leaf springs are designed for the Daily Driver and Weekend Warrior. Ideal for work and play!

NOTE: the 1994-02 Ram 2500/3500 trucks are notorious for a driver’s side lean up to 1.5″ (lower on the driver’s side than the passenger’s side). Carli Coil Springs and Leaf Springs for the 1994-02 are designed side-specific to lift the Driver’s side more than the Passenger’s side to lessen/eliminate this common lean. However, we’ve had trucks require the taller spring be installed on the passenger’s side to achieve a level stance and trucks that require the same heigh springs be installed on both sides to achieve a leveled stance. These trucks are not an exact science and were designed long before CAD programs and design standardization. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the truck will sit level side to side nor is the corrective action a “warranty”. Our choice was either discontinue the product line OR present the customer with the design oddities so they know what they’re getting into. As there are not many performance options for the 2nd gen trucks, we elected to keep the product line as the side to side correction can be alleviated with the use of small spring spacers with NO performance degradation.
