It's been well established that the OEM sway bar on these Cummins has little to no movement at all. A Carli states, people fail to look past the front coils and rear leaf springs when looking to "soften" the factory ride; the OEM sway bar is essentially a brace locking the axle to the frame. This can cause severe chatter or shaking felt within the entire truck.

This Torsion Sway Bar is the perfect upgrade for those looking to lighten the last spring on the truck, maximizing the ride quality, and providing a small amount of differentiation side to side before progressively engaging to add the needed control as leverage is applied, very reminiscent of an independent front suspension!

The single biggest improvement of ride quality out of the entire line of Dodge Ram Components. The OEM sway bar’s torsion rate is extremely high and it almost marries the front axle to the chassis. You notice this the most in low speed offset bumps, such as crossing speed bumps one tire at a time and entering or exiting a driveway at an angle where you feel an abrupt side to side rocking of the entire rig. The first thing you feel with Carli Sway Control is a “detached” feel of the axle and chassis… finally, they are allowed to work independently of each other without undue movement.
