High volumes of cool oil equate to long transmission life. BD Diesel's Deep Sump Trans Pan is constructed from aluminum with heat-dissipating fins to significantly keep transmission fluid temperatures down. The pan is designed to increase oil capacity, adding 4.5 quarts of fluid, and features increased rigidity to prevent case twisting under high stress. This enhancement promotes longer transmission life, especially under heavy towing or performance use. The kit includes screws, plugs, an OEM style gasket, a magnetic drain plug to capture metallic debris, and a temperature sending unit port for monitoring fluid temperature.
