2008-2008 Ram HD 8" Long Arm Conversion Kit with FOX 2.0 Performance Shocks (BDS685FS)

BDS engineered this 8" lift kit with long arm conversion for the 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 diesel, with clearance for up to 38" tires. Up front it runs diesel-specific Pro-Ride progressive rate coil springs, all four long control arms plus mounting brackets, a forged drop pitman arm and track bar drop bracket for steering correction, bump stops, sway bar links and FOX 2.0 Performance shocks. The long lower arms retain factory triangulation to reduce caster change through travel for a more controlled, stable feel. In the rear it uses heavy duty cast steel blocks, longer u-bolts and a matching set of FOX 2.0 Performance shocks.

Notes

• Measure rear axle tube before ordering. Some 4" axle models with dual overloads will require UBT4068.
• Rear lift options will not fit dually applications.
• If driveline vibration occurs, order either transfer case drop. NOTE: 122606 transfer case drop kit will only replace the OE bracket 52121938AA.
• Additional front driveline modification may be required.
• Exhaust modification will be required for dual rear shock kit 122009.
• 2500 Gas models will require modification to the front exhaust crossover pipe on driver side for proper clearance when a transfer case indexing ring kit is installed.
• If your truck has had the steering gear box changed and the sector shaft diameter measures 1-1/2" to 1-5/8", you will need to add part BDS082404 to your kit.
