The BD Diesel 2-Low Unloc is an electronic module designed to maximize torque delivery and enhance maneuverability when operating in low-range mode. By allowing the operator to manually disable the front wheel drive mechanism, the system keeps the front hubs disengaged even when the transfer case is set to 4WD Low. This ensures that maximum torque is directed exclusively to the rear wheels. This functionality restores normal 2WD maneuverability in low range, allowing for sharp turns without the front axle u-joint hopping or binding.
