2012-2012 Ram 1500 6" Lift Kit with NX2 Nitro Shocks (BDS1753H)

BDS steps up the performance and capability of the 2012 Ram 1500 4WD with a 6" suspension lift that clears up to 37" tires. Up front it runs top-mounted strut spacers, high-arched 1/4" steel crossmembers, multi-piece differential relocation brackets, and heavy-duty skid plates, with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends to correct steering geometry and keep ESC compatibility. The rear uses progressive-rate Pro-Ride coil springs, upper control arm and track bar relocation brackets, bump stop extensions, and sway bar links, topped with your choice of NX2 nitrogen gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance shocks.

Notes

• These trucks vary from 1" to 3" tail high from the factory. Measure before ordering. The 022209, 022309, and 022509 coil springs can be substituted to achieve the desired stance. Use the 3" springs if 3" tail high, the 5" springs if level to 1" tail high.
• Not recommended for AWD models.
• Will not fit adjustable air suspension equipped models.
• This kit does not fit 2013 models.
• Stock 17" and 18" wheels cannot be re-installed. Stock 20" can be reinstalled with a factory tire.
• TRX models gain approximately 1" of additional lift; this kit is not recommended on TRX due to possible CV shaft vibration. Consider the 4" system for 5" of lift, or replace the TRX struts with standard struts.
• The rack and pinion steering is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. Larger tire diameter or reduced wheel backspacing increases sensitivity and can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
