2012-2012 Ram 1500 6" Lift Kit with NX2 Nitro Shocks (BDS663H)

BDS steps up your 2012 Ram 1500 4WD with this 6" suspension lift kit, with clearance for up to 37" tires. The high-clearance design improves ground clearance, strength, and offroad protection while correcting suspension and steering geometry for solid on-road handling. Up front it uses top mounted strut spacers, 1/4" thick high-arched steel crossmembers, multipiece differential relocation brackets, and heavy duty skid plates, with CNC-machined ductile iron steering knuckles and replacement tie rod ends for ESC compatibility, plus sway bar drops, bump stop extensions, stainless braided brake lines, and CV spacers. The rear uses progressive rate Pro-Ride coil springs, upper control arm relocation brackets, a track bar relocation bracket, bump stop extensions, sway bar links, and your choice of NX2 Nitro or FOX 2.0 IFP shocks.

Notes

• THIS KIT DOES NOT FIT 2013 MODELS.
• These trucks vary from 1 inch to 3 inch tail high from the factory. Be sure to measure your vehicle before ordering. The 022209, 022309, and 022509 can all be substituted to achieve the desired stance.
• 3 inch coil springs: use if your vehicle is 3 inch tail high from the factory.
• 5 inch coil springs: use if your vehicle is level to 1 inch tail high from the factory.
• The rack and pinion steering system is extremely sensitive to an out-of-round or out-of-balance tire/wheel combination. Larger tire diameter and/or decreased wheel backspacing can cause minor steering wheel shimmy.
• Not recommended for AWD models.
• Stock 17 inch and 18 inch wheels cannot be reinstalled. Stock 20 inch can be reinstalled with a factory tire.
• TRX models will achieve approximately 1 inch of additional lift. This lift is not recommended for use on TRX models due to possible CV shaft vibration caused by the additional lift. Instead, consider the 4 inch lift system for 5 inch of lift or replace the TRX struts with standard struts for use with this system.
• Will not fit adjustable air suspension equipped models.
