Description

There is no need to discard the filter pan assembly every time you service your ZF 8-speed transmission. PPE has engineered an exclusive removable and replaceable fluid filter with a permanent cast aluminum replacement pan, eliminating the high cost of regularly replacing the factory pan. Now simply drain fluid, remove the pan, replace the filter and reinstall.

Holding 1.0 quarts of extra fluid, the high-strength aluminum features external cooling fins for optimal heat dissipation and a high-powered Neodymium magnet equipped drain plug that keeps harmful ferrous metal contaminants out of the transmission internals. Cooler fluid lubricates better, helping increase transmission service life and reduce service costs.

• PPE SKU 228053000 and 228053400 are both compatible with the ZF 8-speed transmissions with a plastic pan, and both work with the factory rubber gasket and steel collars for a precise fitment.
• The two pans have different depths and capacity gains: 228053000 adds 2.0 quarts for maximum thermal capacity, while 228053400 adds 1.0 quart for better clearances.
• The ZF 8-speed is seen on a wide range of vehicles including certain BMW/Land Rover/Jaguar models; this pan is compatible with many 2013-2018 BMW 2/3/4/5/6/7 series and X3/X4/X5/X6 SUVs.
