Description

The factory crankcase ventilation system constantly dumps carbon-based contaminants back to the air intake. These contaminants, when mixed with hot EGR gases, cause harmful sticky carbon buildup in intercooler, intake manifold, and intake valves. This leads to reduced performance, poor fuel economy, higher EGTs, cylinder compression loss, increased emissions, and potential damage to engine components.

The PPE Oil Catch Can Kit is designed to combat these issues effectively. Key features include molded, oil-resistant, one-inch-diameter PCV hoses and a highly efficient stainless steel filter screen, which removes oil and water vapor exiting the PCV valve.

The long, one-inch hoses reduce the velocity of the mixture passing through the system, allowing the oil/water vapor to condense out of the mixture. This removal prevents nasty carbon buildup, ensuring your engine components remain clean and efficient.
