Control Arm Features

Built for strength, performance and increased travel, the HD upper control arms (UCAs) are ready to bolt in with most leveled/lifted trucks. They use 1.5 inch OD x .120-wall tubular construction with an indexed ball-joint cup to correct ball-joint positioning, allowing additional down travel and camber adjustment. The frame mounting ends use durometer-specific rubber bushings for maintenance-free operation, while greaseable ball joints provide smooth, quiet operation and superior durability. Arms are finished in durable black powder coat with a billet aluminum dust cap, ready for installation right out of the box.

• OE Knuckle Type: Cast Aluminum. Ford produces two knuckle/control-arm configurations in 2020+ Rangers. Cast-steel knuckle models use different ball joints than aluminum-knuckle models - verify which factory knuckle your truck has before ordering.

Manufacturer Description

To prevent maxing out ball joints or CV damage, BDS uses a 2-piece design with a smaller top-mounted steel strut spacer combined with a preload spacer. To further ensure proper drivetrain geometry, the front differential is repositioned using relocation brackets that correct CV axle angle while allowing use of the factory front skid plates. Up front the kit includes steel top-mount strut spacers, pre-load spacers, differential relocation brackets, and tubular upper control arms. In the rear it includes heavy-duty lift shackles and custom-tuned NX2 Nitro or FOX Performance series shocks.
