Description

The 8869-25 supports the steering box sector shaft and reinforces the frame side track bar mount in one assembly, redesigned for a more versatile fit on the 2024 and newer JL and JT. Bracing the sector shaft stops the box from flexing under load, one of the root causes of death wobble and vague, wandering steering on a lifted Jeep.

8869-25 supersedes 8869-24.

• Heavy duty sealed roller bearing on a steel sector shaft bearing block.
• Added thickness at the track bar bolt prevents the stock mount hole from ovalizing, and is a bolt on fix for one that already has.

• Two stage abrasion resistant powder coat finish.
• Compatible with all 2024+ JL / JT models including XR, Mojave, Sahara, 392, 4xe and diesel models with the additional factory coil spring gusset.

Notes

• No grinding required for installation on the 2024+ model.
• No bump stop spacer is required when used with the Synergy front track bar (8875-01).
• This is a brace that reinforces the stock frame side track bar bracket, not a replacement bracket. Repair a damaged bracket before installing.
• With an aftermarket front track bar, remove the front springs and cycle the suspension to full bump to set the bump stop spacing needed to keep the track bar off the sector shaft nut.
• Earlier 2018-2023 Jeeps use 8869-04.
