2018-2024 Wrangler JL 4 Door PowerStep XL Retractable Running Boards (77132-01A)

A lifted JL looks fantastic and is a genuine nuisance to get into, which is the exact problem the AMP Research PowerStep XL solves. Open a door and the board deploys automatically. Close it and roughly three seconds later the step folds away and gives you your ground clearance and your approach angles back. The XL version drops four inches lower than the standard PowerStep, which on a Wrangler is the difference between a useful step and a decorative one.

Build quality matches the price. The boards are die cast aluminum alloy in a textured black powder coat with a 6in textured step surface and integrated LED step lights, rated at 600 lbs per board, with anti pinch protection that reverses the board if it senses resistance. Wiring is the patented Plug-N-Play module that connects to the OBDII port, so there is no splicing into the Jeep's harness. It covers the JL four door including the 4xe and the Rubicon 392. Note that drilling is required for the install and AMP recommends professional installation.

• Does not fit the Jeep Wrangler JL 2 Door. The two door uses a different part number.
• Does not fit if the 2026 factory frame mount crash bracket is present.
• OE rock rails must be removed if equipped.
