The Borla Universal Hydroformed SwitchFire® X-Pipe (Part # 60746) is a revolutionary component designed for builders of high-performance custom exhaust systems. Unlike standard X-Pipes that feature a turbulent center intersection, the patented SwitchFire® design completely eliminates the collision of exhaust gases. Instead, it uses hydroformed internal passages to truly blend and merge the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine. This process significantly improves exhaust flow and creates a unique, refined, and aggressive sound profile. The hydroforming manufacturing process also allows for a lower profile than traditional SwitchFire® units, making it ideal for vehicles with limited ground clearance.
