Universal Executive Torsion-Flex Fifth Wheel King Pin Box for Lippert Frames (GH-8070)

Fifth wheel towing is comfortable right up until the trailer starts chucking, and a factory pin box gives the shock nowhere to go except into the bed of your truck. The GEN-Y Executive Torsion-Flex king pin box replaces that factory box with a rubber torsion suspension built directly into the pin box, absorbing the shock at the source. GEN-Y claims up to a 90 percent reduction in shock transfer along with improved steering control, reduced tire and towing component wear, and a noticeably calmer ride for everything living inside the trailer.

This is the 6.5K tongue weight tier of the Executive line, covering trailers with a gross vehicle weight rating between 16,365 and 25,450 lbs. It is precision milled and drilled, maintenance free, powder coated heavy duty steel and built in the USA, and GEN-Y states its products are tested to exceed VESC-19 requirements. Frame fitment is the thing to get right before you order: this pin box is designed for Lippert 1621, 1621 HD, 1116 and 1716 frames, and the 1116 and 1716 applications need add on shim plates that are sold separately.
