The MotoCycle relay harness is designed to deliver steady voltage to your HID system directly from the bike's battery. Factory headlight outputs are really only designed to power a halogen light bulb and with the not-so-stable electrical systems on motorcycles; that could mean bad news for the longevity of your upgraded headlights without a harness.
