2020-2027 GM HD BOSS Aluminum Headache Rack (89058)

A headache rack earns its name the first time a load shifts, and the Putco BOSS is the version that does the job without looking like a piece of scaffolding. It is built from premium 6061-T6 aluminum, CNC bent on a 7 axis machine so the profile actually follows the contour of the cab, and finished in an OE style matte black powder coat that reads as factory rather than aftermarket. Installation goes through the stake pockets with no drilling, and most people have it on the truck in about an hour.

It is also built to be a platform rather than just a barrier. Dual T-slot channels run along the sides and the top for mounting accessories, it works with Putco LED lighting systems, it clears tonneaus and toolboxes, and built in tie down points are each rated at a 250 lb working load limit. Fitment is specific: this is the version for Silverado and Sierra 2500 HD and 3500 HD trucks equipped with the gooseneck style wide view 3rd brake light camera, and it is tailored around that camera and gooseneck use. It does not fit the 1500 trucks and it is not the right part for an HD without the camera.

Notes

• REQUIRES the gooseneck style wide view 3rd brake light camera. This rack is not for trucks without it, which use a different part.
• Does NOT fit Silverado or Sierra 1500. The 1500 trucks use a different part number.
• Not compatible with 55in emergency light bars.
