2005+ Superduty 4WD Heavy Duty Drag Link (8600-01)

The factory drag link on a Super Duty is a known weak point, and it gets worse the moment you add tire and lift. Synergy's replacement is precision bent from 1.5in x .250in wall 1026 USA made DOM steel tubing and bent specifically to clear the sway bar, so there is no knocking and no clearance compromise. It uses Synergy's own metal on metal fully greaseable tie rod ends with a 4140 steel shank and 1018 steel bearing housing, sealed by a heavy duty nitrile butadiene boot with a retaining spring. The axle side end is a single plane design, which cuts drag link flop and kills the dead spot you feel when changing direction.

The engineering detail worth paying for is the adjustment system. A double adjuster sleeve with forged pinch bolt housings lets you adjust the link while it is still on the truck, and the pinch bolt design eliminates jam nuts entirely, which is what prevents the slow alignment creep that plagues jam nut setups. The whole assembly is welded, sealed from the elements and finished in a two stage abrasion resistant powder coat. It is a true bolt in replacement, retains the stock steering stabilizer and works with stock wheels and tires.

• 4WD ONLY.
• VEHICLES OVER 4in OF RIDE HEIGHT REQUIRE A DROP PITMAN ARM for proper fitment. At stock through 4in of lift no special pitman arm is needed.
• Does not cover F-450, F-550 or F-600. Synergy builds separate parts for those trucks.
• Does not cover 1999-2004 Super Duty.
• Some trucks have clearance challenges with aftermarket components and radiator hose routing. Synergy recommends relocating the steering stabilizer to the tie rod on the axle side to resolve it.
• This is a drag link, not a tie rod. Synergy sells a separate heavy duty tie rod for these trucks.
