2009-2018 Ram 1500 and 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic Quad Cab 4in Drop Nerf Step Bars (20-13555)

These bars give you a solid place to put your boot and a solid layer of protection between the road and your rocker panels. The tube is mandrel bent 1.5in steel in a heavy 10 gauge wall, so it takes a boot, a knee and the occasional parking lot curb without complaining. The 4in drop step puts the step surface where you actually want it instead of tucked up under the rocker, which is the difference between a step your passengers use and one they step over.

The step area is die stamped stainless steel, so it bites in the wet and does not wear through the way a bolt on plastic pad eventually does. Everything gets an electrostatic base coat for corrosion protection before a textured black powder coat that hides scuffs and matches factory trim, and it holds up to road salt better than a bar that is simply painted. Installation is bolt on to the factory rocker panel mounting points with all brackets and hardware included and no drilling required, and the bars are shaped to clear Westin Outlaw and Pro-Mod front bumpers if you are building the front end to match.
