Universal 4 Hole 20mm Ball Mounting Base 30x38mm AMPS Pattern (10-21035)

This is the four hole version of Westin's 20mm ball mounting base, and the extra pair of fasteners is the whole point. Spreading the load across four points on a 30mm by 38mm AMPS pattern gives the base more resistance to twisting under a longer arm or a heavier device, which is what you want when a tablet is bouncing around at the end of an extended reach setup on a washboard road. Aluminum and steel construction under a black powder coat keeps it light while still feeling solid in the hand.

Like the rest of the Adventure Mount system, it carries the standard 20mm ball, so any Adventure Mount arm clamps straight onto it and the device holder of your choice goes on the far end. Because the ball is the common interface, you can rebuild the setup around a different phone, tablet or camera later without touching the base you already installed. Mounting hardware and weld nuts are included, and it goes together with basic hand tools.
