2022+ Tundra Running Boards and Side Steps

All about 2022+ Tundra Running Boards and Side Steps

The 2022+ Tundra sits high, and a good step makes getting in and out easier for everyone. Every product here fits the 2022+ Tundra, and most are built for one cab, Double Cab or CrewMax, so start there. Brands here are Go Rhino, AMP Research, N-Fab, Rock Slide Engineering and Westin.

How to choose

• Cab first. Double Cab and CrewMax doors are different lengths, so steps are cab specific. Pick the listing that names your cab.
• Running boards. Go Rhino RB10, RB20 and RB30 boards run the length of the cab with a wide step surface. Slim Line versions have a slimmer profile.
• Drop steps. Board kits with drop steps put a lower step under each door, which helps on a lifted truck.
• Side steps and nerf bars. Go Rhino OE Xtreme, N-Fab Podium and EPYX steps give a narrower step with a lighter look.
• Power steps. AMP Research PowerStep and Go Rhino E-Board and VoltStep boards deploy when a door opens and tuck away when it closes. AMP Plug and Play kits connect through the OBD-II port for a simpler install.
• Rock sliders. Rock Slide Engineering sliders are built to protect the rocker panels on the trail and also work as a step.
• Finish. Choose textured black, powder coat, polished or protective bedliner coating to match your truck.

FAQ

Do I need Double Cab or CrewMax steps?

Buy the version for your cab. The door openings are different lengths, and most listings name the cab they fit.

Will these fit a 2007-2021 Tundra?

No. The 2022+ Tundra is a new generation with different mounting points.

Running boards or rock sliders?

Running boards and side steps are for getting in and out. Rock sliders are built to protect the rocker panels off-road and double as a step.

Do power steps need wiring?

Yes, they run off the truck's power. AMP Plug and Play versions connect through the OBD-II port, which makes the install simpler.
